Bowie ‘74 - Limited Edition Fine Art Print

Based on my original painting of Bowie pictured at a Jackson's concert at Madison Square Garden New York City in 1974.
I always prefer to avoid the well known Bowie images that most other artists gravitate to so I based my painting on a small black and white gossip column picture in one of the weekly music papers at the time.
For me, the thrill and the challenge is in taking some obscure, low quality newspaper or magazine cutting as a source and elevating it to the status of a large fine art painting as I have done here. Hope you like it!
